If my solution were to drop my resolution to 1080p, there would be no reason for me to play on PC unfortunately. And you are correct that TN games feel horrible with stutters considering the types of games that they are. It began as a collection of the loosest of story ideas that seemed to go nowhere, but slowly but surely Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin pulled it all together and managed to stick the landing though you’ll want to be sure to scour it for collectibles if you want the full effect of its revelations. They weren't nearly this disruptive on console. It was once I got to the second half of the first mission just before the doorway toward Garland that I begun to notice consistent stuttering of frames. The PC Port at my initial bootup seemed to be fine as the tutorial and beyond gave me no issues and everything felt smooth.

I may give it another chance if I hear there are some solutions in a week or two from now, though my experience with the PS5 version has been relatively smooth. Never a fun time and it always sucks when it feels like you should really be getting better performance given your hardware. Starfield mods have racked up an impressive 14 million downloads since the game launched 2 weeks ago and were super excited to see all the mods being shared.

PS4 version on PS5 via BC I think is locked 60 but the graphics look terrible, but if you're extremely sensitive to drops that might be the way to go. PS5 version had very poor performance at launch (drops into the 40s when stuff got hectic), idk if it's better now. This is sounding like another unacceptable PC port.
